Tracey is National Technology, Communication, and Entertainment and Media (TICE) Leader of PwC for Canada working out of the Toronto office. Tracey has worked extensively with technology, media and communications companies over the last 25 years providing a broad range of tax services to both public and private companies, in Canada and abroad. In her role as TICE Leader, she oversees services to clients in all of the TICE Sectors with extensive experience providing advice to clients in the broadcast, film production and distribution, digital media, video game and newspaper sectors.
Tracey is frequently sought out to speak on a variety of topics relevant to the Entertainment & Media Industry including the challenges to businesses and opportunities on the shift to digital, the key trends as outlined in PwC’s Global Entertainment and Media Outlook and on various tax incentives to companies considering investing in Canada.
Recently, Tracey has been providing services to both the public and private sectors as they address the challenges of the shift to digital including tax policy and issues of various tax incentives.
Tracey is on the Advisory Board of nextMedia and University of Waterloo Stratford Campus and is currently Chair of the Audit Committee and board member Save the Children Canada.
Tracey is a graduate in Business Administration and became a Chartered Accountant in 1989. She became a partner in PwC in 2000.
