Stephen Martin is a Consulting partner in the Toronto office of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He works in the firm’s Performance Improvement group.
Stephen has more than 20 years experience with PwC providing assistance to private and public sector-related organizations. He focuses on helping organizations make fully informed strategic, business and investment decisions to meet strategic objectives with increased confidence and decreased risk.
Stephen assists organizations by developing, preparing and supporting, assessing, evaluating and validating, and project managing, facilitating and acting as a catalyst throughout the decision making process. His experience includes feasibility and option analysis, business case development and analysis, business plan development and analysis, and situational assessments.
Stephen has also provided advice and assistance to many public sector entities at the municipal, provincial and federal levels on how to best deliver public infrastructure and services, and on other industry specific financial and strategic matters. His experience covers a range of industries with a major focus on the water sector. Stephen has recently been extensively involved in addressing the current challenges municipalities face with respect to their water and waste-water systems. His involvement in the water sector includes work with provincial governments, municipalities, public water organizations and related associations across Canada.
Stephen received his BCom (Honours) from Queen’s University in Kingston and is a CA. He joined the firm in 1982 and was appointed partner in 1996.
Stephen has also spoken at several conferences on water-related matters.
