Shawn Reain is the Compliance Transformed leader, and a Partner in the Tax Group of PwC he is also a member of the PwC Canada Tax Leadership Team.
In his role, Shawn is in touch with the latest issues facing companies. With more than 30 years of experience, Shawn has a proven track record of working closely with the firm's leaders to bring the full strength of our people and innovative services to the market to address evolving market trends, solve important problems and build trust with clients.
Prior to his current role, Shawn led PwC Canada's Alberta and Prairies Tax practice where he built diverse teams and trusted relationships to help companies navigate change and solve important problems.
Shawn has also led PwC’s Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) and Incentives practice supporting organizations performing leading edge Research and Development. Based in Calgary, Shawn has a strong background in general tax which aids in providing proficient advice.
Shawn graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours co-op degree and was admitted into the PwC Canada partnership in 2005.
