Sham Madhok is a partner in the Consulting and Deals practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP working in the Ottawa office. She leads the firm’s Federal Government practice and the Ottawa Infrastructure and Project Finance (IPF) practice.
Sham has more than 20 years’ business experience and 10 years’ project finance experience. She’s a recognized leader in the public-private partnership (PPP) sector. Sham has advised on more than 20 projects with a capital value of over $15 billion in Canada, the UK, US, Mexico and Bermuda. She honed her project finance skills in the UK where she was seconded for three years and led many private finance initiative transactions from inception through financial close. Most recently, Sham led PwC’s Toronto Infrastructure & Project Finance (IPF) practice.
Prior to specializing in infrastructure, Sham worked in Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions and Valuations in the Canadian mid-market sector. Sham’s a former member of the board of governors of the North York General Hospital and its audit and finance committee, as well as the Canadian Hearing Society, Toronto Chapter.
Sham’s a Chartered Accountant, holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a graduate of York University.
