Serge Gattesco, CA

Serge Gattesco is the national managing partner of the Audit and Assurance Group for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He has more than 23 years of public practice experience, dealing with both large and small Canadian and foreign multinational public and private companies.

Serge has significant experience in the areas of audit, accounting, systems and controls. He has significant boardroom experience and a proven understanding of public company reporting issues. His past experience includes both initial and secondary public offerings, and other capital market transactions, in the US and Canada. He is currently an engagement leader and senior relationship partner for a number of the firm's clients in the mining, real estate, retail and consumer goods, manufacturing, health care and entertainment and media industries. Serge's prior experience includes secondments to three large health care organizations, where he acted in various roles, including Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Operations. He has also been involved in numerous operational reviews of large health care organizations across Ontario.

Serge holds a BCom from the University of Toronto. He is a past member of the Board and Treasurer of Camp Oochigeas, a summer camp for children with cancer. He is also a past member of the Audit Committee for the national office of the Canadian Diabetes Association.
