Sean Cable
Partner, PwC Canada
Sean Cable is a partner in the Audit and Assurance Group. He provides expertise in complex accounting, assurance and financial reporting matters of Canadian companies with reporting obligations in Canada and the United States. He deals with both Canadian and U.S. GAAP.
Sean’s areas of technical expertise includes asset retirement obligations, business combinations, goodwill and other intangibles, income taxes, employee future benefits and restructurings. He serves a wide variety of audit teams and clients, including energy, mining and industrial products industries. Each year Sean participates in the development of the firm’s Annual Update Course provided to both staff and clients.
He also frequently participates in external speaking engagements and is a member of the CICA Assurance Standards Board Task Force on Generally Accepted Auditing Standards Hierarchy. He has also been a workshop leader of the CICA In-Depth GAAP Course Parts II and III. Sean joined the firm in September 1994 after earning his Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Queen's University.
