Bob Sandy is an incorporated partner in the Consulting Services group of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP working in the Vancouver office. He is also the head of the firm’s Deals practice for British Columbia.
Bob provides business valuation advice, expert testimony, litigation support, forensic/investigative accounting, and strategic advisory services to a broad range of clients in industries ranging from resource based (fishing and forestry) to manufacturing, transportation and gaming.
Bob has been qualified as an expert witness on more than 20 occasions in the Supreme Court of British Columbia, The Federal Court of Canada, US Federal Court and the Ontario Court of Justice at various arbitration and mediation proceedings.
Bob graduated with a BComm in Accounting and Management Information Systems from the University of British Columbia in 1979. He obtained a Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 1981, a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) designation in 1994 and an Investigative and Forensic Accountant (IFA) designation in 2000.
Bob has given presentations at conferences and to organizations on topics such as financial statement fraud, understanding financial statements, workplace fraud, partnering with First Nations, use of non-legal advisors, and alternative energy sources.
