Rémi Tremblay is a Tax Services partner working in the Québec City office of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He leads that office’s Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) group as well as Canadian Business Compliance Services. In addition to his extensive experience in SR&ED, Rémi has Canadian corporate tax experience, focusing on public and large private organizations in the technology and manufacturing industries.
Rémi was originally with PwC from 1996 to 2000 and rejoined the firm in 2002. Prior to that, Rémi acted as the director of finance for a technology company where he developed a good understanding of the needs and concerns of the private sector as well as a broad knowledge of the Québec new economy tax incentives.
In 1995, Rémi earned his BBA degree in Accounting from Laval University. He obtained his CA designation in 1998, and completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants In-depth Tax Course in 1999. Rémi also assumes HR responsibilities for the Québec City Tax practice.
He is actively developing the Québec City office’s Tax practice by being involved in the business community. Rémi is the co-founder and member of the Club Affaire, a business club of the Québec Metropolitan Young Chamber of Commerce.
