Ray Crossley is a managing partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He specializes in working with large, publicly-traded corporations operating in the natural resource sector and complex accounting issues. He has worked with a number of SEC registrants in addition to a number of smaller to mid-size companies.
Ray was a member of the firm's Partnership Board and he was the chairman of the Finance Committee. He joined the firm in 1981 and was appointed to the partnership in 1996.
Ray chaired the CICA’s task force that authored the accounting guideline that provides standards for full-cost oil and gas accounting. He has served as a member of the Financial Advisory Committee of the Alberta Securities Commission and the ad hoc Oil and Gas Accounting Issues Committee. Ray has also been a speaker at various internal and external conferences on oil and gas and mining subjects.
Ray is a member of the Patron's Council of the Chef's for UNICEF Calgary Fundraising Dinner.
Ray graduated from the University of Western Ontario in London and is a member of the Alberta and Ontario Institutes of Chartered Accountants.
