Pierre Lessard is a partner in PwC Canada’s Montreal Tax Services practice. He is the East Region Tax leader and National Tax Operations leader.
Pierre specializes in corporate tax planning and restructuring of publicly-traded and mid-sized companies.
Pierre holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Québec at Trois Rivières (UQTR) and an MBA from HEC School of Business in Montréal. He obtained his Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 1978.
Pierre has had various tax articles published in Les Affaires and Finances. In addition to serving the organizing committee for the tax symposium organized by the Quebec Association of Tax and Financial Planners (APFF), he has developed and presented numerous seminars, primarily for the CTF. In 2010, he served as honourary chairman of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada’s Wine and Cheese for Hope fundraising event. He also took part in the 2010 Quebec Strategic Focus and is the director of the non-profit organization La Maison de Soins Palliatifs de Laval.
