Nicolas Marcoux is PwC’s Canadian Deals Leader, a practice which is composed of Corporate Finance, Corporate Advisory & Restructuring, Valuations, Forensics & Disputes, Infrastructure and Project Finance, and Transaction Services (due diligence). He is also leader of the firm’s Consulting & Deals practice in the Quebec region.

Nicolas is also a Managing Director with PricewaterhouseCoopers Corporate Finance Inc. specializing in mergers and acquisitions. Over the past years, he has assisted mid-market public and private companies with acquisitions, divestitures and raising capital. He is very familiar with the various intricacies of a transaction.

Recent transactions:

  • Obtained financing from CIBC and BDC for Boutique Jacob
  • Acquisition of Le Maitre Saladier by Groupe St-Hubert
  • Divestiture of Telecon to Desjardins Capital de risque and CDP Capital
  • Strategic investment partnership of Fruits & Passion with S.C. Johnson

Nicolas began his career with PwC in 1989 and was admitted to the partnership in 2000. He is a graduate of the University of Sherbrooke with a bachelor's degree in business administration (1991). He is a Canadian chartered accountant (1993) and also has the titles of CF and CPA.
