Michael Anaka is an Audit and Assurance Group partner and the Maritime leader of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He is also the Maritime leader of the Audit and Assurance Group.
Michael has experience sourcing, negotiating and arranging financing packages for clients in a variety of industries. He is a trusted business advisor for entities ranging from small start ups to multinational enterprises.
Michael is the global relationship partner for a large multinational company operating in the retail food industry. He is also the engagement partner for many significant businesses based in the Maritimes, focused primarily on the forestry and consumer packaged goods industries.
In January of 2002, Michael left the firm to become president and CEO of a local technology company. In January of 2003, Michael rejoined the firm as managing partner for the Maritimes region and also the Audit and Assurance Group leader for the Maritime office.
A graduate of the University of Victoria, Michael earned a BA (Economics). He joined the firm in 1978 and received a CA designation in 1981.
Michael is an avid soccer player and fan and currently serves as treasurer of the Cole Harbour Soccer Club. He has also served on various committees for the Nova Scotia Institute of Chartered Accountants and the United Way.
