Martin Boucher is a partner in Audit and Assurance Group of PwC working in the Montréal office. He’s also a member of the National Accounting Consulting Services group. The role of this group is to monitor emerging issues and help clients and staff to understand and properly apply the literature and guidance in the field of accounting and financial reporting, audit and securities legislation.
Martin has worked with a various range of clients in the private and public sector. He’s an IFRS champion within the Canadian firm. He’s also one of the Canadian firm specialists on public sector accounting standards. He has prepared several PwC thought leadership newsletters and publications on the matters of transition to IFRS and developments under public sector accounting standards. Martin is a frequent lecturer on complex accounting and auditing matters.
Martin graduated with a BBA (Accounting) and a graduate diploma in Accounting from HEC Montréal. He received his CPA, CA designation in 2001.
