Martha Kittell is a partner and practice leader of International Assignment Services at the PwC’s Montréal office.
Martha has 23 years of expatriate experience and has had the opportunity to serve large and small expatriate programs, both inbound to and outbound from Canada and the United States. Her experience includes assignments in Paris, France serving international law firms, in Northern Virginia and Stamford, Connecticut working with large multinationals, and as international assignment services practice leader in Boston, Massachusetts.
She has extensive experience in the international arena, delivering high-value client strategies and global, tax, payroll, and administration experience. She has full responsibility for the development and implementation of her clients’ global service plan, helping to ensure service delivery and monitoring overall performance. She has authority for the clients’ technical and administrative decisions worldwide and maintains regular contact with PwC's global network of IAS professionals. She works closely with the teams dedicated to her clients and she is responsible for the performance and quality of their service.
She currently focuses on the US and Canadian tax issues related to individuals working and living overseas.
Martha has a Masters of Science in Accounting from the University of Virgina, and a Bachelors of Business Administration from St. Mary's College. She is a Certified Public Accountant (Maryland) and is fluent in English, French and Italian.
