John Gotts is a Tax Services partner working in the Hamilton office of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He specializes in Canadian corporate income tax for public and multinational organizations with a focus on consumer and industrial products. He is experienced in cross-border tax planning, acquisitions and divestitures, corporate reorganizations, and providing tax assistance for Sarbanes-Oxley and Canadian Bill 198 assignments.
John developed and delivered several internal tax courses, and facilitated the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants In-depth Tax Course. As a member of the team that leads the firm’s national Bill 198 initiatives for tax in Canada, John assists with the design and delivery of a Bill 198 training course and recently contributed to PwC’s Navigating the New World series of publications.
He joined the firm in 1996 after he earned a Bachelor of Accounting degree from Brock University and obtained his CA designation in 1995.
