Jean-Sébastien Blais is a vice president in the Deals practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP working in the Québec City / Sainte-Foy office. He is part of the Dispute Analysis & Valuations group.

Jean-Sébastien combines business valuations and financial analysis experience to provide commercial dispute, business financing, merger and acquisition, business planning and financial forecast services for clients in a variety of industries.

Recent transactions:

  • Acquisition of Westco MultiTemp by Congébec Logistique
  • Obtained financing from Financement agricole Canada, Desjardins and National Bank of Canada for Congébec Logistique
  • Obtained financing from Desjardins and Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec for Le Groupe M. Vachon and Laboratoires COP

He joined the firm in 1997 as a senior advisor for the Financial Advisory Services group after having worked as a junior accountant for Assurance and Business Advisory Services in the Montréal, QC, office. In July 1999, he was appointed manager for the Financial Advisory Services.

Jean-Sébastien earned a BA (Accounting) from Sherbrooke University, QC. He obtained a CA in 1995, and became a member of the Ordre des Comptables Agréés du Québec in 1997.
