Jason is an International Tax partner in the Calgary office of PwC Canada and is the leader of the International Tax Services practice in Alberta.

Jason is known for his ability to support clients with corporate restructuring and efficient debt financing projects for both Canadian outbound and Canadian inbound investments. Jason has advised on the design and implementation of many successful cost-effective cross-border financing and leasing solutions. He’s helped companies in the oil and gas, mining, utilities and transportation industries looking to do business in Canada for the first time. He’s also worked with Canadian companies investigating new investments opportunities in various foreign jurisdictions.

Jason graduated from the University of Calgary with a BCom in 1994, and earned his CA designation in 1997. He has been a leader for both the group study, the in-residence components of levels I and II, and helped develop and tutor the Foundations In International Tax Course for the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. Jason has co-authored articles on the foreign affiliate rules and has made presentations at the Canadian Tax Foundation and various other seminars.
