Eric Clarke is a partner in the Assurance Group of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP working in the Toronto Head Office. He is responsible for providing a full range of assurance and business advisory services to several key firm accounts. He has a wide range of international experience in leading large and complex audit assignments, due diligence and transaction services, stock exchange listings and other risk management and advisory services.

Eric is a member of the firm’s International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) team providing services to the utilities industry and has worked on several IFRS conversion projects for clients across the power and gas sectors.

Eric joined the firm’s Edmonton office in 1993 after graduating from the University of Saskatchewan with a BCom degree. He received a CA designation in 1996. That same year he transferred to PwC’s London, UK, office where he worked in the Energy & Utilities Assurance practice. While in the UK, Eric also worked in Paris for one year to transition the audit of a PwC Global 300 client to the firm’s office in Paris, France.

In 2003, Eric returned to Canada to join PwC's Assurance practice. He has presented at external seminars and workshops on accounting and regulatory developments in Canada and the UK. He has also taken lead roles internally in developing the firm’s audit approach as it pertains to IT General Controls and industry specific issues.
