Donald Flinn is an Audit and Assurance Group partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP working in the Halifax office. He is also a member of the Private Company Services team.
Donald has spent more than 14 years in public practice, acquiring extensive audit and accounting experience with clients ranging from owner-managed enterprises to multinational corporations. His diverse industry expertise ranges from technology and entertainment to financial institutions, real estate and air transportation.
In addition to his audit and accounting experience, Don has also been involved in numerous advisory assignments with regulatory, business advisory, forensic and management information systems emphasis.
Donald joined PwC in 1986 after graduating from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax with a BCom degree. He earned a CA designation in 1989, placing on the Canadian honours list.
Donald left PwC for a position as the CFO of a growth-oriented film and multimedia company in 1998. He returned to the firm in 2001. With his experience as CFO, Don now offers his valuable business advice to his wide range of clients from privately-held companies to larger, public organizations.
Donald has been active in his community and profession, including serving as president of the Children's Aid Society of Halifax. He is currently a member of the council and the executive of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nova Scotia and coaches for the Halifax Hawks Minor Hockey Association.
