Diane Akelaitis is the Vancouver leader of the Human Resource Services group within the Tax Services practice of PwC Canada. Diane specializes in Canadian and US personal income tax planning and compliance for a wide range of corporate and individual clients.

Diane assists companies and their employees in managing the complex financial, tax and related matters pertaining to the cross-border movement of human capital. She has extensive experience in cross-border executive compensation issues, including equity-based compensation plans and retirement compensation plans. She also advises on expatriate policy design and implementation.

Diane is a regular speaker at both internal and external forums regarding a variety of international tax and expatriate matters. She is a Canadian Chartered Accountant who has completed the CICA In-Depth Tax Course, a US CPA (Illinois) and has earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia in 1988.
