David is a Mergers & Acquisitions Tax partner in the Toronto office of PwC Canada. His practice has focused on acquisition structuring, due diligence, and post acquisition reorganization assistance.
David has led tax engagements in the M & A area involving private equity clients, clients in financial difficulty including debt restructuring mandates, and acquisitions of Canadian public and private companies, with a focus on real estate, construction, energy, mining, agriculture, retail and distribution.
David was admitted to the partnership in 2000, and has worked in PwC’s Mergers & Acquisitions Tax Services Group for 15 years.
David has lectured at the firm's National Tax Conference on debt restructuring tax issues and is a tutorial leader for the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants’ Corporate Reorganizations course.
David graduated from Queen’s University (Kingston) in 1986 with a BComm, and from York University (Toronto) in 1993 with a Masters degree in Business Administration. David completed his Chartered Accountant designation in 1991.
