David J. Bryan, CA•CIRP

David Bryan is the Managing Partner as well as the Deals Practice Leader of the Edmonton office of PwC Canada.

He has more than 15 years of experience advising and assisting government bodies and companies across a range of industries, helping them enhance their performance and implement their strategies. David specializes in transaction support, including financial due diligence and post-merger integration, as well as corporate advisory and restructuring.

Recent transactions:

• Elaborate Homes Ltd. and Elaborate Developments Ltd. - Court appointed receiver of these two companies located in Northern Alberta. Our mandate included completing a number of projects and ultimately selling the companies through a tender process.
• H.M.E. Evans Ltd. - Court appointed liquidator of a property holding and investment company located in Alberta pursuant to the Business Corporations Act.
• Climate Change and Emissions Management Corporation - detailed due diligence and financial risk assessments of companies providing submissions for funding.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from the University of Alberta and obtained his CA designation in 1997. He also is a Chartered Insolvency & Restructuring Professional (CIRP) as well as a Trustee in Bankruptcy.

David is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Alberta Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals and the Turnaround Management Association.
