David is a partner in the Deals practice. He specializes in providing insolvency services through court and private receiverships, agency appointments, bankruptcy proceedings, proposals (both informal and formal) and court directed on behalf of debtors and lenders.
Joining the firm in 1995, David has completed assignments for most of the principal financial institutions including all major chartered banks, trust companies and asset based lenders. He has headed teams in work under the Offshore Banking Act; under a Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act order of one of the largest independent sawmills in Atlantic Canada; and as interim management of the accounts receivable centre of the largest line-to-line transportation carrier in Canada.
David earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from St. Francis Xavier University in 1989 and was designated a Chartered Accountant by the CICA in 1992. He is also a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Practitioner (1999) and holds a Trustee in Bankruptcy License (2001).
