Colin Mowatt is a partner in the Tax Services practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP working in the Toronto Metro North office. He specializes in Canadian tax consulting services to a number of public and private Canadian corporate clients in the manufacturing, franchising and real estate sectors.
Colin joined PwC’s Saint John office in 1992 in the audit practice. He worked on audit engagements in several industries, including food processing and manufacturing, before joining the tax group in 1995. While in Saint John, Colin's tax experience involved working with high net worth individuals and private businesses in a wide variety of industries.
He transferred to PwC’s Toronto Metro North office in 2000 to become a member of the Mergers and Acquisitions Tax Services group. He has worked on acquisition structuring and tax due diligence assignments in a number of industries.
Colin has been a tutor at the CICA Indepth Tax Course and has lectured at numerous PwC national tax conferences. He is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation and the CICA (Ontario and New Brunswick).
In 1992 he earned a BSc degree at Dalhousie University in Halifax. Colin obtained a CA designation in 1995.
