Christophe Gautier is a Director in the Deals practice at PwC Canada’s Montreal office, where he is in charge of the CMAAS group and Quebec’s contact for the IPO readiness services.
Christophe leads the French Desk initiative aspect of the French Executive network, which aims at assisting French companies and their subsidiaries with their projects of expansion and development in Canada.
He has over 15 years of corporate auditing experience in France, Canada and Cameroon as well as in reporting requirements consulting. Working in the Capital Markets Group in Paris and Brussels since 2002, Christophe has acquired practical experience with GAAP-to-IFRS conversions in France, Belgium and Canada. He also works on complex accounting issues relating to business acquisitions, consolidation, impairment testing and income taxes.
Christophe’s track record includes numerous standards conversion projects on behalf of clients operating in the financial services, industrial products and mining sectors. In this regard, he is a member of the firm’s global Capital Markets Group network and the Canadian IFRS Champions network.
Christophe obtained a master’s degree in finance/management (school of advanced business studies in Nantes, France) and holds the Chartered Accountant designation in Canada and the equivalent in France. He joined PwC in 1998.
