Christine Girouard is a partner in the Tax Services group of PwC Canada in Montreal.
She specializes in providing tax services to Canadian companies and has wide-ranging experience. Her clients include companies in operating sectors such as retail and consumer goods, the pharmaceutical industry and manufacturing. Christine is also the Tax Management and Accounting Services group leader in the Montreal office.
In charge of financial statement income tax accounting for her clients, she is a subject matter professional in auditing income tax provisions for public and private Canadian companies and in financial statement income tax disclosures. She also provides advice to companies that are based in Canada or that do business in the country in the fields of corporate tax services, research, reorganziation and compliance with tax requirements. She also serves as a liaison between her corporate clients and our Tax group's other areas of specialization.
Christine hold a Bachelor of Business Administration (BAA) from Montreal's HEC School of Business. She became a chartered professional accountant (CPA, CA) in 1993. She has also completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants' In-depth Tax course.
She is also a member of the Association de planication fiscale et financière (APFF) and the Canadian Tax Foundtaion.
