Brad McDougall is an incorporated partner in the Tax Services practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP working in the Vancouver and Fraser Valley offices. He leads the Consumer and Industrial Products and Services tax practice for British Columbia and is responsible for many tax projects in the BC's government sector.
Brad has considerable experience in a wide range of tax assignments to both private and public companies. He has advised many private sector clients regarding the tax structuring of public-private partnership projects. In addition to his income and commodity tax experience, he has advised many public sector clients on tax matters.
Brad earned a BCom from the University of Manitoba in 1981, qualified as a chartered accountant in 1985 and has more than 20 years' experience providing services to his clients. He has presented several papers at Canadian Tax Foundation conferences and speaks frequently on tax matters. He also has considerable experience in tax assignments related to the bidding and hosting of the Olympics and numerous Canada Games, including in Brandon, Cornerbrook, London, Campbellton-Bathurst, Regina, Whitehorse and Charlottetown. Brad has made tax presentations to the International Olympic Committee Evaluation Commissions on behalf of several recent Olympic bids.
