Bernard Brunet is a partner with the Deals practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP working in the Montreal office. He is part of our Corporate Advisory and Restructuring team.
Bernard has more than 25 years of restructuring experience and has extensive experience in advising companies and their stakeholders across a wide range of industries. His experience enables him to make financial and operational diagnosis and implementing refinancing/reorganization plans oriented on the strategic objectives of shareholders and investors. He is also a consultant to financial institutions with respect to commercial loans and venture capital investments. He has done interim management for companies and act as expert witness before the Court.
Formally, Bernard worked for the firm from 1981 to 1987. He then actively participated in the restructuring and turnaround of a manufacturing company as vice president and general manager for four years. In 1991, he started his current position with PwC.
Bernard has a BBA from École des Hautes Études Commerciales (1981) and earned his CA designation in 1983. He has been a Canadian Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP) and obtained his Trustee's licence in 1998. He speaks both English and French.
