Alex is a partner in the Assurance Practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He specializes in providing accounting, auditing and business advisory services to large multinational businesses, primarily manufacturing and distribution-based companies in the Consumer and Industrial Products & Services (CIPS) sector. He also has extensive experience with companies reporting under both Canadian and U.S. GAAP.

Alex is currently a member of the CICA Research Studies Group Electronic Filing and Reporting, and was previously involved with the CICA Research Study The Impact of Technology on Financial and Business Reporting, published in October 1999. He also has been a judge for the CICA Annual Report Awards for the past three years, in the category of Electronic Disclosure.

With more than 14 years experience with the firm, Alex was certified as a Chartered Accountant in 1991. In the past year, he has been a key member of the Canadian Task Force for Sarbanes-Oxley and Bill 198, and has been involved in the development of several materials for the Canadian firm, including the Sarbanes-Oxley 404 Toolkit series, and the manual An Auditor’s Guide: Sarbanes-Oxley 404 Attestation.
