PwC expands its footprint in the Quebec market

Brossard, August 11, 2016 – Starting today, PwC has an address in Brossard. The acquisition of certain assets of Lehoux Boivin by PwC is part of an expansion plan announced a few months ago. “We make no secret of our intention to grow, and we are well on our way to expanding our footprint in Quebec,” said Nicolas Marcoux, Managing Partner, Montréal Office and Major Cities.

With many Quebec and Canadian businesses already among its clients, PwC also wants to serve the local business community. “Lehoux Boivin is a leading South Shore firm that is uniquely positioned with local entrepreneurs. This alliance is the pooling of two value propositions: access to local businesses and entrepreneurs and the ability to provide them with a wide array of services,” explained Marcoux.

As a result of this transaction, South Shore entrepreneurs will have access to a vast network of business, audit, taxation, consulting, and transaction professionals. The complementarity of the service offerings will raise the level of support and coaching available for local enterprises at every stage of their development.

Louis-Alexandre Lehoux, partner, adds: “No staff changes are planned. Martin Fontaine and I will be stakeholders in the PwC leadership, while Gilles Lehoux and Mario Boivin will act as consultants.” Professionals and employees from the two firms will work side by side and benefit from each other’s competencies and expertise. “We will pursue our activities at our Brossard office in order to maintain our proximity to our clientele,” Lehoux continued.

“PwC continues to join forces with the best talents to enrich its network and enhance the client experience, a signature value of our brand. This promising business opportunity is the first of many others to come,” Marcoux concluded.
