Vena Solutions named the winner in the People’s Choice category

TORONTO—PwC is pleased announce online men’s clothier Frank & Oak as Innovator of the Year at this year’s PwC Vision to Reality Awards, which honours up-and-coming companies in the emerging tech sector. Applicants are judged on innovation, financial performance and strategic direction by a panel of third party industry experts.

Frank & Oak is a leading menswear brand and e-tailer that designs, manufactures, and sells a monthly collection of premium clothing and accessories. Members create profiles indicating their style preferences, and then choose from a personalized selection of apparel. With free at-home try on, the choices are simple and the experience is hassle-free.

Since its launch in February 2012, Frank & Oak has become one of Canada’s biggest exporting companies, and one of North America’s fastest-growing retail brands. Its success as a Canadian-based online-only retailer is especially noteworthy considering that most e-commerce retailers in Canada are US-based organizations. Frank & Oak has also seen explosive year over year membership growth, with a subscriber base of over 950,000—and counting.

“We’re thrilled to be named this year’s Innovator of the Year and are excited that our concept has resonated with so many,” says Ethan Song at Frank & Oak. “Canada is a great place to be a start-up and we’re grateful for the supportive community in which we have been able to thrive.” “We’re thrilled to be named this year’s Innovator of the Year and are excited that our service offering and business model has resonated with so many,” says Ethan Song at Frank & Oak. “Canada is a great place to be a start-up and we’re grateful for the supportive environment in which we have been able to thrive.”
