The Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act was signed into law by the US President Barack Obama in July 2010. The act will usher in a time of unprecedented change in the asset management industry for both US and non-US firms. It will also require a significant amount of rulemaking and regulatory interpretation over the next several months and years.

This PwC Asset Management webcast includes a dynamic panel discussion that addresses how the act will affect the asset management industry from a regulatory and business perspective. In addition, the panel focuses on the new rules and regulations in the coming year as well as provides a longer-term view of how the regulation and the new regulatory order will impact the asset management industry in the future.

Speakers:

  • Raj Kothari – Partner and National Asset Management Leader
  • Barry Benjamin – Global Asset Management Leader, PwC (US)
  • Lori Richards – Principal, Financial Services Regulatory Group, PwC (US)
