On November 5, 2009, representatives from PricewaterhouseCoopers will host a technical briefing on PwC's newly released publications assessing the impact of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games on British Columbia and Canada. The briefing, led by project leader Ed Mansfield, will provide an overview of Reports 3 and 4 of the series, as well as an overview of the project's methodology and key findings.
The Games Effect series of reports, commissioned by the Government of Canada and the Government of British Columbia, identifies and analyzes the economic and social impacts from the time of the award of the Games in 2003 through to 2013. The reports consider impacts in eight topic areas and include a supplemental topic area on Aboriginal participation.
