Canada's emerging software and technology sector has reached a new level of growth and maturity. This year marks the first time talent has topped the list of CEOs' major business challenges.

No longer is building revenues or finding funding the chief concern. Now it's about building the team needed to support ongoing growth.

This year's results indicate that emerging Canadian software companies are healthy and looking to the future, and that CEOs are focused on growth and connecting with their customers. But they're also dealing with an evolving workforce and tougher talent market.

Looking forward, CEOs are optimistic. The majority of CEOs continue to take an aggressive approach to business planning, with half targeting 25% growth or more in the coming year.
