David Bryan

David Bryan is PwC Edmonton’s new Managing Partner. David is also the leader of the Deals practice in the Edmonton office. David has more than 15 years of experience advising and assisting government bodies and companies across a range of industries, helping them enhance their performance and implement their strategies.

David specializes in transaction support, including financial due diligence and post-merger integration, as well as corporate advisory and restructuring. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from the University of Alberta and obtained his CA designation in 1997. He also is a Chartered Insolvency & Restructuring Professional (CIRP) as well as a Trustee in Bankruptcy. David is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Alberta Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals and he serves on the board of the Turnaround Management Association (Northwest Chapter).

Kent Davison

Kent Davison is a Partner in the Edmonton Tax Group and was recently appointed as the Tax Services Leader. Kent works with both public and privately owned clients, including clients owned by private equity funds. Kent brings not only his significant experience to bear, but also his strong network of tax professionals within PwC globally. Kent oversees both tax consulting and tax compliance services for all of his clients, including corporate reorganizations and mergers and acquisitions. Kent is able to provide deep functional expertise and experience that adds value to all of his clients.

Kent joined PwC in 1985 and was admitted to partnership in 1994. Kent has held a number of leadership roles in the firm, including the leader of the tax practice for the firm’s Ottawa office and the national leader for tax for the Technology leg of the firm’s Technology, Information, Communications and Entertainment industry vertical. Kent has lectured at professional tax courses, has written numerous tax articles and has presented at various conferences, including the Canadian Tax Foundation’s Annual and Prairie Provinces Tax Conferences. Kent is a former governor of the Canadian Tax Foundation.
