William Shwayri is a U.S. Immigration Attorney and Senior Associate at PwC Law LLP in the Toronto office.
William is well-versed in several areas of business immigration including H-1B and TN nonimmigrant visas, PERM Labor Certifications, EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visas, Applications to Adjust Status, and EB-1 Multinational Manager petitions. He has also worked on several complex cases including PERM Audit Responses, BALCA Appeals, and Motions to Reopen through the USCIS Administrative Appeals Office. At PwC Law, his practice centers mainly on PERM Labor Certifications and immigrant visa processing for PwC US employees.
Prior to joining PwC Law, William practiced immigration law in Washington, DC, where he catered to the immigration needs of Fortune 500 companies, IT consulting firms, and universities. William also has experience with naturalization applications and family-based immigration. Additionally, he has worked on pro-bono asylum cases adjudicated in the USCIS Asylum Office.
William was raised in West Palm Beach, Florida. He is licensed to practice law by the Maryland Court of Appeals, is licensed as a Foreign Legal Consultant by the Law Society of Upper Canada, and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
