Samantha Weizel is a US Attorney in the Immigration Practice at PwC Law LLP working out of the Toronto office.
She specializes in US corporate immigration and cross-border issues and advises clients on various immigration strategy options. She works extensively on H-1B, L-1, E-3, TN, and J-1 nonimmigrant visas for high-volume corporate clients. Samantha also works closely with Human Resource professionals, mobility teams, and practice leaders to advise on facilitating resources on various corporate engagements. She also has experience working on immigrant visas and permanent residence applications.
Samantha has completed written submissions before governmental bodies including Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
Before joining the firm she interned at the Law Offices of Chicago-Kent where she gained valuable experience working with private clients on family-based, refugee, and asylee applications.
Samantha received her Juris Doctorate from Chicago-Kent College of Law and her BA (Honours) from York University. She is admitted to the state bar of Illinois and is also licensed as a Foreign Legal Consultant by the Law Society of Upper Canada.
