Melodie Hughes Molina is a Partner and Canadian Immigration Team Leader at PwC Law LLP working out of the Toronto office.
Specializing in Canadian immigration matters, Melodie has extensive experience in corporate immigration law and cross-border issues, where she provides legal assistance and advice to multinational corporations, small businesses and individuals alike in developing immigration strategies and ensuring successful cross-border travel. Melodie’s immigration law expertise includes admissibility issues, permanent residence and temporary status applications, including work permits, study permits and temporary resident visas.
Melodie has written several articles relating to immigration law and cross-border issues, and has led many workshops and seminars for corporate counsel, HR specialists and other professionals on the topic.
Melodie obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Ottawa, and her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Ontario. She commenced her career in international human rights, refugee, and immigration law while working for a sole practitioner of immigration and refugee law in the Ottawa area. Prior to joining PwC Law LLP, Melodie worked with the Appeals Chamber at the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in the Hague, Netherlands. Melodie is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association.
