Douglas Cowgill is an Associate Attorney in the Immigration Practice at PwC Law LLP working out of the Vancouver office.
Douglas practices exclusively in the field of US immigration law, and has a wide-range of knowledge and experience with nonimmigrant visas, immigrant visas, investment visas, citizenship and naturalization, US waivers, employment based immigration, family based immigration, federal compliance with immigration laws, and consulate assistance. Douglas works with both individual clients and companies of all sizes to facilitate entry into the US under various types of classifications including, but not limited to, TN visas, L1 visas, H1B visas, E1 visas, E2 visas, E3 visas and green cards through employment, family sponsorship, and investment.
Douglas is a frequent author of the firm’s client alerts which outline the latest US immigration policy reforms and legislative developments, and has also presented to the Canadian Corporate Counsel Association of British Columbia on “Navigating the Changes in Immigration Law for Corporations.”
Douglas graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Madison with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Legal Studies. Following his undergraduate career, Douglas attended law school at the University of Wisconsin Madison, and graduated with a Juris Doctor Degree. After law school, Douglas moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, where he enjoys hiking and skiing in the beautiful, mountainous environment.
