Asha Sairah George is U.S. Attorney in the Immigration Practice at PwC Law LLP working out of the Toronto office.
Asha practices exclusively in the field of US corporate immigration law and advises clients on various immigration strategy options. Her practice focuses on processing high-volume employment based visa petitions for corporate clients. Asha works extensively on various non-immigrant classifications, including H-1B, H-3, L-1A/B, TN, and the respective dependent categories.
Before joining the firm, Asha worked at the Court Square Law Project to provide affordable legal services spanning various civil legal disciplines including immigration. Prior to that, Asha worked at the Center for Court Innovation/Harlem Community Justice Center and she has also volunteered her time to provide pro bono representation of unaccompanied minors fleeing gang violence in Central America through the Safe Passage Project.
Asha attended CUNY-Baruch College where she obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (cum laude) in Human Resource Management. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law. Asha was admitted to the New York State bar in 2015, and is a member of the following organizations: New York State Bar Association, New York City Bar Association, New York County Lawyers' Association, and the Asian American Bar Association of New York.
