Ken Scott

Partner, PwC Canada

Ken Scott is a partner in the Audit and Assurance Group of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP working in the Vancouver office. He is a member of the firm’s BC Mining practice and has considerable experience providing audit and assurance services to public companies trading on Canadian and US stock exchanges.

He regularly advises companies on complex transactions and regulatory filings. Ken assisted in the creation of BC Housing’s Financial Reporting Requirements supplemental guide, which incorporated the CICA Handbook Recommendations on non-profit organizations.

Ken was a partner at Staley, Okada & Partners (SO&P) and joined PwC in 2006 when the two firms combined services. During his time with SO&P, he was the Chief Financial Officer of two public mining companies with operations in the US and Mexico.

Ken obtained his CA designation in 1982, a CPA designation in 2003 (Oregon) and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of BC. He earned a BA degree from Simon Fraser University in Burnaby in 1980.
