Jean-François Lecours is a partner in the Audit and Assurance group of PwC Canada working in the Montréal office.

He has more than 12 years of experience serving privately held firms as well as large publicly traded companies meeting Canadian and US regulatory requirements. He assists companies in preparing prospectuses in Canada and the US, pro forma financial reports and carve-out financial statements. His clients include companies in operating sectors such as forest products, pulp and paper, wrapping products and energy.

From 2007 to 2008, Jean-François was transferred to the firm’s Stamford (Connecticut) and San Jose (California) offices. Joining forces with collaborators from around the world, Jean-François played an active role in designing and implementing PwC’s audit software. He also offered PwC staff several professional development courses.

Jean-François holds a specialized graduate diploma (“DESS”) in public accounting from the Université de Sherbrooke. He became a chartered professional accountant (“CPA”) in 2004.

Involved in the community, he serves on the board of La Maison du Père, a not-for-profit organization helping homeless people through rehabilitation and social support programs.
