Donald Flinn is the Atlantic Leader of PwC's Assurance practice, working in the Halifax office.  

Donald has spent more than 25 years in public practice, acquiring extensive audit and accounting experience with clients ranging from owner-managed enterprises to multi-national corporations.  His diverse industry expertise ranges from technology and entertainment to financial institutions, real estate and air transportation.

In addition to his audit and accounting experience, Don has also been involved in numerous advisory assignments with regulatory, business advisory, forensic and management information systems emphasis.

Donald joined PwC in 1986 after graduating from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax with a BCom degree.  He earned a CA designation in 1989, placing on the Canadian honours list, and was awarded Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2009.  Donald left PwC for a position as the CFO of a growth-oriented film and multimedia company in 1998 and returned to the firm in 2001.

Donald has been active in his community and profession, including serving as President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nova Scotia and the Children's Aid Society of Halifax.  He also coached minor hockey for many years and is currently the Treasurer of Ashburn Golf Club.
