PwC is a Top Employer for eight consecutive years

At PwC, people are the core of our business. We invest in our people by engaging and motivating them to give their best every day, recognizing their contributions and helping them to develop to their full potential in their chosen careers. That’s why we are proud to be named as one of Canada's Top 100 Employers 1 in 2011, the only professional services firm to receive this honour for eight consecutive years.

Furthermore, we are also one of Greater Toronto's Top Employers, a special designation within the Top 100 competition recognizing employers in the region or city in which they are headquartered.

These honours are an external recognition of our efforts to deliver a distinctive experience for our people and to make PwC an employer of choice.

PwC offers our people comprehensive development programs, competitive employee benefits packages, progressive national and global career programs and a commitment to corporate responsibility. We are also committed to a long-term strategy that puts our people first and focuses on priority areas such as diversity and inclusion; work/life flexibility; coaching, learning and development; and rewards and recognition. Some examples of our people programs and initiatives include:

Coaching, learning and development: All employees of the firm are assigned a coach who provides them with advice for their professional growth throughout their career, combined with on-the-job learning and a range of courses and mobility assignments.

Rewards and recognition: Our Marquee rewards and recognition programs celebrate employees who deliver great results and provide an outstanding experience for our people and clients. Acclaim, one of our rewards programs, recognized over 90% of our people last year with “dollars in points” which can be redeemed for merchandise and services.

Community involvement: Team Volunteering, the most recognizable program of the PricewaterhouseCoopers Canada Foundation, engages our people in meaningful, day-long projects for worthwhile causes. In fiscal year 2011, almost 40% of PwC employees participated in this program.

PricewaterhouseCoopers is committed to building a diverse workforce representative of the communities that we serve. We encourage qualified candidates, including aboriginals and Persons with Disabilities, to apply.

1More than 12,000 employers were invited to apply for the Top 100 Employers competition from a range of industries across the country. Participants are required to complete an extensive application process that includes a detailed review of operations, HR practices, charitable efforts and community involvement.
