On December 20, 2010 the Receiver was discharged by the Court, a copy of the Order is posted in the Court Orders section of the website.
Status of file as of December 9, 2010:
On December 9, 2010, the Receiver prepared its Fifth Report to Court.
Status of file as of September 20, 2010:
On September 20, 2010, the Receiver prepared its Fouth Report to Court.
Status of file as of August 25, 2010:
On August 25, 2010, an Order was issued by the Court of Alberta confirming sale, distribution and vesting order.
On August 20, 2010, the Receiver prepared its Third Report to Court.
Status of file as of July 6, 2010:
On June 30, 2010, an Order was issued by the Court of Alberta authorizing an interim distribution.
On June 28, 2010, the Receiver prepared its Second Report to Court.
Status of file as of June 4, 2010:
On June 4, 2010, an Order was issued by the Court of Alberta authorizing the sales process of certain assets.
Status of file as of June 2, 2010:
On May 31, 2010, the Receiver prepared its First Report to Court.
Status of file as of February 16, 2010:
On February 16, 2010, an Order was issued by the Court of British Columbia granting the Receiver exclusive access to diamonds held in a safe deposit box, subject to the British Columbia Securities Commission revoking its freeze order.
Status of file as of January 12, 2010:
On January 12, 2010 PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc. was appointed as Receiver and Manager of seven related companies by the court of Alberta. The companies are: Genesis on the Lakes Ltd., 0760838 B.C. Ltd., FIC Investment Ltd., WBIC Canada Ltd., FIC S.E. Asia Fund Ltd., FIC Investments USA Corp. and China Dragon Fund Ltd.
We have not been appointed Receiver of the following related companies:

- Aspen Hills Development Ltd.
- Calmar Lakeside Development Ltd.
- Dome Development Corporation
- FIC Education Ltd.
- FIC Financial Services Ltd.
- FIC Foreclosure Fund Ltd.

- FIC Income Fund Ltd.
- FIC Landco Ltd.
- FIC Management Group Ltd.
- FIC Payroll Income Fund Ltd.
- FIC Real Estate Fund Ltd.
- FIC Real Estate Projects Ltd.
- Pigeon Lake Developments Ltd.
- 0779243 B.C. Ltd.
We are currently securing the assets of these companies and will begin assessing their value. The objective is maximizing the recovery to creditors and shareholders.
