Our PwC Winnipeg office has approximately 150 employees and is located in the heart of downtown.

PwC Winnipeg offers opportunities in Audit and Assurance, Tax and Consulting & Deals with a wide range of clients. From large world-renowned organizations, to small locally owned and managed businesses, we have the opportunity to act as their trusted business advisors.

While all of our new hires from campus typically start off in Audit and Assurance we provide opportunities to transfer into Tax or Consulting & Deals. There's also the possibility to participate in international secondments in other PwC offices in North America and around the world.

Our office has a strong focus on the development of our people and provides many learning opportunities, especially for CASB students who are preparing to write their UFE.

As much as we work hard, we love to play hard and hold an array of social events throughout the year including our annual golf day, volunteer days and “Thirsty Thursdays” where we can all connect and relax in a fun environment.

Tax

While the Winnipeg office hires directly into Audit and Assurance, we provide our summer and co-op students opportunities to work rotations throughout their terms in both our Tax and our Consulting & Deals practices. This is an excellent opportunity to explore different areas of the business.

Our Tax Practice is also CATO approved and there is the opportunity to work with our Tax Group while completing your CA designation.

"My first year at PwC has been a great learning experience. PwC provides a range of different courses, such as IFRS, corporate tax and personal tax courses, which have been helpful in my growth as an associate." — Brittany, Associate

We believe that everyone has the ability to make a difference in their community. Our office supports this belief with action. We encourage everyone to give back to the community by providing them with paid Team Volunteering Days. They’re a great way for our office to give back to the community and to share our skills with local organizations that are making a difference. In 2010-2011, our office volunteered more than 540 paid hours to lend a hand at local charities.

We also participate in our national Green Week, and are very active in supporting the United Way. Last year we raised over $50,000 to support the organization.

Some of the volunteering activities we have participated in include:
  • Habitat for Humanity, Winnipeg
  • The Children’s Museum
  • Winnipeg Boys & Girls Clubs
  • Winnipeg Harvest

"The really powerful thing about CASB is that you’re studying and working at the same time. On multiple occasions, I’ve faced issues at work that I had just studied in CASB. This connection is invaluable, and it really develops your understanding beyond the textbook." — Joel, Associate
