Welcome to PwC Montréal. The choice of where to start your career is a very important one and it calls for an informed decision. Let me share why I joined PwC, when I was in your shoes. I had always dreamed of a career that would be marked by new challenges in a stimulating, open and dynamic professional environment— a career that would let me advance and develop personally and professionally. PwC has allowed me to do just that. Since I joined the firm, I've benefited from some wonderful opportunities. I became a partner in 1991 and six years later, I took charge of the Consulting practice.
As you get to know more about us, you'll find that our Montréal office offers a diversified clientele and provides access to a unique global network. Working at our firm gives you the opportunity to gain professional experience abroad, as part of certain engagements and programs. I personally enjoyed a three-year international exchange program in Switzerland. If you choose PwC, I assure you that the firm will challenge and reward you, both personally and professionally.
I wish you the best of luck and look forward to meeting you.

Guy LeBlanc, FCA
Managing Partner, PwC Montréal
The first Canadian office of Price Waterhouse opened in the Old Port of Montréal in 1907. Today, PwC Montréal is located in the heart of downtown. Our offices are on five floors in one of the tallest buildings in the city – a beautiful, modern 50-storey building with breathtaking panoramic views. The office includes approximately 625 staff and 50 partners, 50% of whom are women.
Even though we're a fairly large office, we still have a sense of family. For example, we encourage staff to get involved in the local implementation of our national people initiatives, such as work/life flexibility and coaching through our Action Group. We're also pleased to have obtained CATO status in our Tax Group. We're now recruiting for summer, co-op and full time positions, giving you an amazing opportunity to work in both our Audit and Assurance or Tax Group.
We look forward to having you join the PwC team!

We believe that we have a responsibility to contribute to the communities in which we live and work, and to share our skills, expertise and resources with the charitable sector.
Through the PricewaterhouseCoopers Canada Foundation, we help our people connect with charitable organizations of interest to them such as Welcome Hall Mission, Accueil Bonneau, Québec Breakfast Club, Starlight Children's Foundation Canada, Héritage Laurentien and Pro-Vert Sud-Ouest. In 2010-2011, our employees in Montréal volunteered more than 2,100 hours in the community. We also get involved in local causes such as United Way, the Ride for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, le Grand défi Pierre Lavoie and the 24h Tremblant for Centre de cancérologie Charles-Bruneau.
To help support the environment, the Montréal Environmental Committee organizes activities throughout the year and helps introduce new ways we can help the office reduce its environmental footprint. A highlight of their work is the annual Green Week, where the committee sends out "green tips" and organizes activities such as tree planting.

We recognize the importance of acknowledging staff on a job well done, whether that is through a UFE celebration, promotion celebration or our Long Service Award celebration.

So, how does the Montréal office's Uniform Final Examination (UFE) Preparation Program work? The program includes between 17 to 20 days of case writing sessions and over 20 mock questions/examinations. The objective of these sessions is to help writers apply their technical knowledge and make useful recommendations in practical client situations. External professional instructors teach all sessions, and examinations are marked by experienced UFE markers.
