Building communities at home and abroad

Sheetal has always understood the value of strong community. Ever since she was a young girl growing up in Niagara Falls, she and her family have played an active role in an organization that helps sustain the cultural heritage of the Indo-Canadian community and raises desperately needed funds to help the rural poor in India. Through her extensive travels in Southeast Asia, Sheetal has seen first-hand how her work with the mission is improving the lives of those less fortunate.

Closer to home, a career with PwC is providing the flexibility Sheetal needs to follow her passions. From her volunteer work with the PricewaterhouseCoopers Canada Foundation to her leadership role in supporting the junior members of her audit teams, Sheetal is continuing to help people succeed in the community and in business.

Sheetal has temporarily put aside her role as a CA with PwC’s Asset Management practice to work full-time as a recruiter on campuses in the Toronto area. For seven months, Sheetal will help university students understand the amazing career potential that comes with a CA designation and, of course, chat with students about the rewarding personal and professional opportunities she’s discovered at PwC.
