I chose to work at PwC because of the variety of opportunities the firm can provide. I’ve been able to get involved with national projects, and explore development opportunities within my role. My coach truly makes an effort to ensure that I am continually growing as a professional.
For me, what really differentiates PwC from the rest is the culture of support. It is evident that the organization places an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration, which I believe contributes to a more open and welcoming work environment. I always feel supported, and am able to rely on my ‘coach’ and ‘buddy’ for support when necessary.
Since joining PwC in May 2014, I’ve already found that the firm is openly willing to invest in its staff. As a growing HR professional, I’m keen on learning more about the variety of groups that this profession offers. I’ve taken advantage of the breadth of experience that my colleagues possess, and have grown my professional network extensively. Leveraging this knowledge, I’ve begun to gain further involvement in Training & Development, and HR Administration in addition to my main focus of Recruitment & Selection. I truly feel that I am growing a foundational skill set that will allow me to establish myself as a qualified HR Professional.
