Operating in centres for mining in Africa

PwC and Eurasia Group would like to extend an invitation to our in-depth analysis of operating in the following centres for mining in Africa:

  • Democratic Republic of Congo
  • Ghana
  • Tanzania

This forum has been designed to provide an essential opportunity, for those that are currently invested or are considering an investment, to be informed of the latest developments influencing the business environments within these nations.

We are proud to offer experienced PwC partners from each of the countries as speakers - to share their perspectives on the opportunities and challenges of “doing business” in their respective locations.

We are also delighted that Philippe de Pontet, the Africa Director, from Eurasia Group will be on hand to provide an insight into the current political landscape for each country and give his assessment of the future for these nations.

Following the presentations a panel including each of the speakers, the PwC Global Mining Leader - Tim Goldsmith and the PwC African Mining Leader - Hein Boegman will be at your disposal to further discuss any of your questions or observations.

A cocktail event will follow the proceedings. The details are as follows:

Date: Tuesday, 7 February 2012
